New community [13 Jun 2008|09:42pm]

jordannamorgan
I hope no one minds my posting this. I was looking for a good "Hogan's Heroes" community to join, and finding only this one that seems to be inactive, I decided to create a new one: stalag_13.

Discussion, icons, fanfiction, and so forth are all welcome. Please do join! I hope to make it a fun and active group. :)

Announcement [01 Jun 2007|11:29am]

I have been absent of late, as you may have noticed, due to some personal life changes.

As it is, I would like to offer the chance for someone to take over this community.

Applications may be sent to gotobed@myway.com. Just include your username, why you want the job, and I'll post with my decision.

I really do hope to see this community go to someone who will be able enliven it and spark more interest, but if no one applies for the job, then I will be deleting it.

If it should come to that, I will try and post 30 days ahead so you may get any stories or such that you want off of it before it goes forever.

Thanks to everyone,
The Moderator

Rejoicing Among the Nations [29 Dec 2005|04:57pm]

Title: Rejoicing Among the Nations
Author: Kits
Rating: K
Warnings: Excessive sap. Christmas, you know.
Special Notes: First, thanks to Linda for the beautiful beta job. Second, she pointed out that the prisoners didn't have pillows, so I'm going to have to ask you to stretch your imaginations a bit (because, you know, POWs running a sabotage unit in WWII is realistic stuff). And finally, I have it on very good authority (R Cloud) that late Christmas fanfics are welcomed. Hopefully.
Summary: And despite their differences, the nations rejoiced, for the Son of God, their Saviour, had come to the world on a cold, dark night, under a star that shone so bright.

Merry Christmas!

Author: Kits
Rating: K
Pairings: None
Warnings: None
Disclaimers: Alas, none of the characters are mine. Would that they were!
Special Notes: I've never been up to Connecticut, though I did google image search it, and so if any of the details are off... well, correct me and I'll correct the story. That said, I haven't been to Germany either. Was just in the mood for a good fall piece of imagery.
Summary: Reflections on a fall morn.

Welcoming Post [28 Dec 2005|05:01pm]

Welcome to Hogan and Company, your friendly community to help escapees, confuse the Germans, and discuss everything Hogan's Heroes.

Generally, this community is established for the hosting of fanfiction and fanart, but all discussion about the show, links, rec's, et cetera are encouraged as well. Feel free to comment or post on anything you would like to share.

Some rules you should look over before posting:

1. Discussion should be ruled by civil behavior. If you can't respect some other person's opinion, I don't expect them to respect your's.

2. The jacket is either brown or black. Feel free to argue.

3. Fanfiction/fanart postings should follow the general format below:

Title:
Author:
Rating: (here, please use the fan ratings--http://www.fictionratings.com/guide.php)
Pairing:
Warnings: (if any)
Summary:

All works should be under an lj-cut. If you don't know how to use this, click on "FAQ", scroll down to "Journal Entries" and read how there.

4. All ratings/pairings (including slash)/discussion is welcome. If you don't like, don't read. For those who would rather not, however, I would ask that you put all discussion or works that might be offensive under a cut and clearly label it.

For instance, a subject line and post might read something like this:

"Hey, I was just wondering... Question: Involves SlashCollapse )"

5. Have fun!

Any questions, comments, or observations would flatter my ego (in other words, at your own risk), so email me at gotobed@myway.com.
